Why I'm Running for Breakthrough New York
This November, I’m proud to be running the TCS New York City Marathon in support of Breakthrough New York (BTNY), a tuition-free, 10-year program that empowers talented NYC students from low-income communities with the academic support, mentorship, and guidance they need to succeed from middle school through college.
After running the 2025 Boston Marathon in support of the Walker School, a nonprofit organization also focused on educational equity, I’m excited to once again dedicate this race to helping students unlock greater opportunities and brighter futures. BTNY’s long-term, hands-on approach ensures students don’t just get to college: they have the support to thrive once they’re there and after they graduate.
Every mile I run and every dollar raised helps fuel that impact. Thank you so much for your support and for investing in the future of Breakthrough New York scholars!
